Local Contribution Initiatives

IM Electronics has entered into a naming rights agreement with Tottori Sand Dunes Children's Kingdom(from 2024).We are committed to helping create a safe and enjoyable environment where children can play freely, contributing in our own small way to the local community.

Commitment to SDGs

IM Electronics Co., Ltd. actively contributes to solving social issues through its business activities, supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We align with the SDGs proposed by the United Nations and continuously promote initiatives to contribute to their realization. Through our business activities, we aim to enrich lives, earn the trust of all stakeholders with integrity, and work toward building a sustainable future society.

Environmentally Conscious and Waste-Reducing Manufacturing

IM Electronics integrates environmental considerations with high-quality production through the following initiatives.

• 1. IM Electronics ensures compliance with ISO 14001 by implementing lead-free production and RoHS Directive adherence to minimize environmental impact.
• 2. To reduce waste and maximize resource utilization, frame-cut waste generated during production is recycled, contributing to a circular economy.
• 3. We enhance energy efficiency in factory equipment, promoting energy conservation to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing.
• 4. Solar panels have been installed at each factory to promote the use of renewable energy. From January to December 2024, we generated 1,880 MWh of electricity, reducing CO₂ emissions by 677 tons annually. We continue to expand the use of clean energy to further reduce our environmental impact.
• 5. By utilizing N₂ (nitrogen) reflow ovens, we prevent oxidation on welding surfaces, reducing defect rates and enabling environmentally friendly and waste-free manufacturing.

Fostering People and Engaging with the Community

1. Promoting Diversity Management

M Electronics values the individuality and diversity of each employee and considers them essential to corporate growth. In Japan, nearly half of the workforce consists of women, and we foster an inclusive work environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of nationality, can thrive.Additionally, at our overseas factories, we ensure equal opportunities for all employees, creating a workplace where everyone can maximize their potential regardless of biological sex or gender identity.

2. Promoting Employee Health and Well-being

We are committed to maintaining and improving employee health by implementing health-conscious management policies. Our initiatives include comprehensive health checkups, stress assessments, and programs that prioritize employee well-being and job satisfaction. Within our factory environments, we carefully select ergonomic equipment and optimize production processes to create a stress-free and safe workplace, ultimately enhancing both employee health and productivity.

3. Supporting Local Education

IM Electronics contributes to the local community by donating sports equipment to elementary schools. We run a plastic bottle cap collection program, where the proceeds are used to support global vaccination efforts. By participating in this initiative, we help protect children from diseases and infections, delivering hope and improving health conditions worldwide.
